Gustafsberg is regarded as a fortunate place for weddings and offers a perfect setting for a great highlight of life. The beautiful Societetshuset in Empire style from 1837 makes the party a magical memory with its seven meters ceiling height, antique furniture and a beautiful old wooden floor.
When food and drink have been enjoyed, the dance can start and the mingle on the open porch begins. Then you can party until 2:00 a.m. and you stay with us, so you are close to home.
Societetshuset is suitable for those who want to arrange your party and our concept is simple: We rent out the premises and if there are available rooms we can offer accommodation at Gustafsberg’s Spa Hotel & Hostel – you arrange your own food, drink and cleaning.
The rent is paid in advance. In case of cancellation the rental fee is refunded minus 10 000 SEK which is the cancellation fee.
Information
- In the kitchen there is a guest information folder, which everyone who rents the Societetshuset must read through.
- The party hall in the Societetshuset is 9×13 meters.
- The house is rented daily between 10.00 – 10.00/14.00 and it is important that those times are kept.
- There are 20 gateleg tables and about 110 folding chairs for table setting.
- The size of the gateleg table is 180×80 cm.
- Porcelain, cutlery and glass we have for about 90 people.
What is available is: red wine glasses, champagne glasses, drinking glasses, flat plates, deep plates, coffee cups, saucers, side plates, forks, knives, tablespoons and teaspoons. The porcelain is white, but not everything is uniform. - The kitchen is not equipped to cook large amounts of food and there are limited heating possibilities.
- The food is best arranged with catering.
- A dishwasher (common), two refrigerators (160×60 cm) and a freezer box are available.
- Cleaning cannot be purchased from us and we have no serving staff to rent out.
- There is no sound system in the room.
- Recommended maximum number of guests 90-100 persons.
- There are two toilets in the house.
- Societetshuset is not rented in the winter months.
- We do not provide tablecloths, vases or chair covers.
- There are four double electrical sockets in the party room (one in each corner of the room).
- Please note that the Societetshuset has an automatic fire alarm. Smoke machine may not be used. The fire alarm is connected directly to SOS-Alarm and Rescue Service. The rescue service will respond to all alarms and if any tenant has triggered alarms through carelessness or negligence, the rescue service will charge approximately SEK 5,000 for the emergency.
