The Walkway at Sörkullen Beach Gets a New Timber Structure – Completion in April
Uddevalla Municipality is closing the walkway past Sörkullen beach for a long-awaited refurbishment. The existing walkway on concrete foundations will be replaced with an entirely new timber deck and railing, and the section from the beach towards the waterfront promenade at Landbadet will also receive new gravel.
The municipality, which leases the area from the Gustafsberg Foundation, expects the work to be completed during the first week of April, providing an improved walking experience just in time for spring.
